Evie Warwick, a Graphic Designer and Illustrator who loves anything bright, bold and in your face. Since studying BA (Hons) Fashion Communication at Liverpool John Moores University she has grown a passion for photography, print and illustration and like viewing the world from contrasting perspectives. She will happily dive headfirst into a project, and is not afraid to make mistakes; she feels that you cannot progress in your field if you are constantly perfect. Her style of illustration is very expressional in terms of mark making. She tries to steer away from clean straight lines as she feels there is less life to the sketch if there aren’t multiple layers to it; particularly hand rendered sketches. For her digital sketches Warwick tends to be cleaner cut, with some patterns being mass produced as face wear for the general public. She would describe her photography as a form of activism, Warwick loves imagery that provides a sense of shock but captivation, and she always wants her viewer to take a step back and observe the work. She likes to project confusion to the viewer followed by an explanation as to why. With an attention to detail, whether that is the paint on the model’s fingernails, or a hair out of place. .
